Get Rihanna-Legs

The sun is out and at this moment, don't you just wish you had Rihanna's legs?? Long, lean, bronze, and oh so sexy! It's no wonder why she loves to wear dresses. I would too if I had those legs. I love her legs. If only, you know.. If only.. With those legs + the weather, it's absolutely the perfect time to get those short shorts and those frilly skirts out and flaunt what your Mama gave ya. Or not. Cuz don't fret girls. You don't have to be tall, slim, or Barbadian for that matter. All you need is to follow these 5 simple steps that Cosmo has in store for you.

1. Go Bare

How else would your legs look hot and sexy if not by going bare? Yeap, do whatever you gotta do to keep it hairless! Shave, Wax, Lather, anything! Just remember to use a really sharp razor if you decide to shave. Using a razor that's got 3 or 4 blades is certainly the best! Also, opt to shave right after you're done showering and everything. It's best to shave when the hair is softer and easier to remove. Remember to hold the skin taut and shave in the opposite direction of hair growth. Oh, and always use a shaving cream! Never attempt to shave without any lubricating cream. That would cause irritation, and worse of all, ingrown hair!

If you're the type that can stand a bit more pain, then you should definitely consider waxing. It's way better than shaving since it removes hair from the follicle and it keeps your legs bare longer than just a few days!

2. Soften the Skin


Scrub up. Like my Mommy always says, "Never forget to scrub," she tells me. She swears by her weekly scrubs and I gotta tell you, her skin is way softer than mine. At an age double of mine, I gotta say that that really is impressive! So as her advice, SCRUB SCRUB SCRUB! Be sure to get a gentle exfoliating body scrub that has moisturizing oils to prevent dryness and dullness. Also, don't forget to scrub in circular motions especially around those scaly knees and ankles.

3. Tan 'Em Up

We Malaysians are lucky that we're not stuck with pale stick legs! We've got that natural tan that looks extra sexy if we just keep 'em scrubbed and moisturized everyday! If you think your legs are getting a bit too pale, then just go out in the sun more often and get that nice tan. If you're afraid of the sun like most women are, get some self-tanning cream that you can get almost anywhere these days. You should also lather up with lotions that have a shimmery effect that will make your legs look ultra sultry!

4. Get a Flawless Finish

Ok, this happens to me a lot! I get up from the couch and bam! My leg hits the coffee table and I end up with a bruise! That wouldn't look too pretty if you wanna show off them legs now would it? So what do you do? Ice the are a.s.a.p. to prevent it from swelling up. Do this everyday if you're not planning to go anywhere. If you've got that luncheon planned with your girlfriends and you wanna wear your beautiful sundress, then disguise the bruise with concealer and a bit of light reflecting makeup. It works wonders! You can also do this to birthmarks, spider veins or even stretch marks!

5. Pedicure!

It wouldn't do any good if you've got the hottest legs in town, but really ugly toes! It's really important to keep those toes pretty. Remember to have those toenails cut straight and not rounded as it can cause the nails to grow into the surrounding skin. Also, do not forget to file your nails as we wouldn't want your toenails to become your weapon of choice!

If you've got really rough skin around your feet, always buff away those spots with a really good buffer. You can get one at Body Shop. If you wanna save cost, go to your nearest river and take some 'batu sungai' or river stones. They're really good for scrubbing! Seriously!

Lastly, with all that buffing and trimming and moisturizing and shimmering, deck your toenails with a really nice shade! And that's it! You're done! Don't hide beneath those cargo pants and start showing your 'Rihanna legs'
